Below is a map depicting the estimated response time for MARG to an event from Morgantown, West Virginia. Then center (purple) is our primary response zone and where we are able to respond the quickest with the most trained searchers. Most areas of the purple zone we can have trained searchers on the ground within 60 minutes of the first notification. We will generally be able to respond immediately to all incidents within the purple and green zones. Pink and blue zone incidents may have a slightly delayed response as resources are allotted. Once the incident is outside the blue zone we generally will only respond on a case by case basis due to the extreme driving time. Certain types of incident, such as Cave Rescues, MARG will respond no matter the distance or location once invited to respond. If you wish to contact us for an incident please follow our emergency callout procedures.
