Objectives:  Teams will be given an approximately 20 acre area to identify as many clues as possible in the least amount of time.  Teams will be required to describe each clue that was found (provide number and suite).  Clues will be marked as “Search Clue – SAR Challenge 2007 – Please Do Not Remove”. 

In addition, leaving one team member at the station staging area, the remaining team members will need to locate shoe prints over a 100 square foot area and describe the print in detail to allow for the staged member to successfully identify the shoe from a number of choices.  Teams will be given a maximum of one (1) hour to complete this station.

 Clues.

-         Any material carried by teams is permitted

Rules:

-         Teams will be required to keep track of their time on task.  Time beyond the maximum allowed will result in a 2:1 time penalty (two minute penalty for each one minute over the maximum allowed).

-         Clues not recorded or improperly recorded will be considered “Not Found”.  For each “clue” not found the team will be given a time penalty of 5 minutes.

-         Improper identification of shoe print will result in a time penalty of 10 minutes.
